The information contained on this website and accompanying blog (collectively “website”), including ideas, suggestions, techniques, methods, blog posts, classes, workshops, events, services, social media postings, resources, products, and other materials, is educational in nature and is provided only as general information and is not medical or psychological advice, opinion, diagnosis, or treatment.
Transmission of the information presented on this website is not intended to create and receipt does not constitute a professional relationship between the visitor and Art-Body-Soul and any of the practitioners or teachers represented on this website and should not be relied upon as medical, psychological, or other professional advice of any kind or nature.
You understand by viewing this website you will be introduced to a number of mindfulness, active meditation, and process art classes, workshops, events, and individual and group self-healing sessions, and products intended for health, wellness, self-empowerment and personal transformation. In addition, you will be introduced to several energy-oriented complementary and alternative self-healing methods, including Healing Touch, Emotion Code, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Psych-K®, and The Dalian Method® (collectively, the “Energy Methods”).
Energy Methods is a collective term used to refer to a variety of energy healing techniques based on the use and modification of energy fields. The Energy Methods are designed to assess where the body’s energies are blocked or not in harmony and then unblock, correct, and balance the flow of these energies, thereby aligning the body’s energies to boost health and vitality. The Energy Methods can also assess the energetic impact of how thoughts, beliefs, and emotions can influence the health and well-being of an individual. The prevailing premise of the Energy Methods is that the flow and balance of the body’s electromagnetic and subtler energies are important for physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health, and for fostering well-being.
Although the Energy Methods appear to have promising mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health benefits, they have yet to be fully researched by the Western academic, medical, and psychological communities. Therefore, the Energy Methods are considered experimental and the extent of their effectiveness, as well as their risks and benefits, are not fully known. The Energy Methods are self-regulated and the State of Tennessee does not license any practitioners of the Energy Methods and considers them to be alternative or complementary healing approaches.
Any information presented on this website regarding classes, workshops, events, individual sessions, products, and the Energy Methods is not intended to represent that they are used to diagnose, cure, treat, or prevent any medical problem or psychological disorder nor are they intended as a substitute for seeking professional health care advice and services. While Madeleine Newkirk has extensive experience as a practitioner and teacher of mindfulness, active meditation, process art, and the Energy Methods, she is not a physician, psychologist, psychotherapist, or other licensed health care practitioner and her services are not licensed by the State of Tennessee. Art-Body-Studio strongly advises that you seek professional advice as appropriate before making any health decision.
